Medical herbalist and astrologer Marcos Patchett introduces the traditional technique of Primary Directions, the original astrological timing technique for predicting major life events. Unlike Secondary Progressions, Primary Directions are based on the diurnal rotation of the earth (its Primary motion), not the earth’s movement around the sun (its Secondary motion).
Primary Directions are powerful astrological tools for describing and predicting the most memorable events in life, biographical ‘turning points’ and chapter headings. Traditionally, they were used to rectify charts with uncertain birth times, and were of central importance for any long-term predictive work.
